The purpose of the Company of Jesus is to make our Lord Jesus Christ known and loved everywhere following the examples of Saint Francis of Assisi and Saint Benedict as we walk out our Christian journey.
The Company of Jesus is a Christian Third Order blended community of clergy, religious and laity. We seek fellowship, mutual support and ministries that reflect unity and service with all who see themselves as Christ-centered and Biblically focused.
The Company of Jesus seeks to be faithful to the prayer of Jesus that "they may all be one." We seek to live a full Franciscan and Benedictine spirituality; to love and serve God; to seek and share the truth of the Gospel; to build toward a world of peace; and to provide spiritual and social services to a hurting and troubled world.
The Company of Jesus seeks those people called to serve God and His creation in a variety of ways. The Company of Jesus is open to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who hold traditional Christian values. We seek fellowship with Christians, regardless of denominational affiliation, who have a desire to connect to the historic, apostolic church and its traditions. We are tradition rich, but not tradition bound.
You may serve as a fully professed member of the order or you may serve as an Oblate (non-professed) of the order. In either case, it is not necessary to leave your current life situation or current denominational affiliation.
If you feel called to the religious life through the expression of Franciscan or Benedictine spirituality we would love to hear from you. All of the information you need to get started on your journey is located here on the website. Please contact us if you have further questions or would like to receive an email copy of our Handbook (in Word format). If you would like to send us an email, please email Father Abbot Andrew+ at .
The Company of Jesus is part of the Anglican Province of Christ the Good Shepherd under the care of our Episcopal Overseer, His Grace, The Most Rev. +Mark Camp, CJ, Bishop of the Archdiocese of Christ the King.
We are also an affiliate ministry of the American Anglican Council.
May the grace and peace of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit rest and abide upon you now and forevermore. +
